The Authentic Life is pleased to be recognized as an approved supervision site for psychotherapy students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University.

We welcome psychotherapy interns for a number of reasons :

• We believe in supporting new therapists entering our profession by offering them clinical experience, close supervision and mentorship, and an inside look into the daily operations of a psychotherapy practice.

• They learn from us, and we learn from them. Our interns are receiving the most up-to-date training and have access to leading edge research which enhances our competence and grows everyone’s skill set.

• Because our interns are still in training, they are available at reduced rates, which means we can offer affordable mental health services to everyone. Psychotherapy interns are available at reduced and sliding scale rates.

• Collaboration and relationship-building are two our most important values. Working together as a close-knit group that values each other’s talents, diversity and continuous learning is a source of professional and personal growth and satisfaction for everyone on our team.
