Specialities
My approach to therapy is grounded in a humanistic perspective that emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and respect for each person’s unique story. Narrative therapy is of particular interest to me, especially the ways the stories we tell ourselves about who we are can shape our identity, relationships, and sense of possibility. Together, we can explore these stories with curiosity and compassion, noticing patterns that may no longer serve you and developing new, more empowering ways of understanding yourself.
Drawing from emotionally focused therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and psychodynamic perspectives, my work also explores how past past experiences and relational patterns influence the present. Attention to these patterns can deepen insight into how you experience yourself and others, while opening space for new ways of relating and responding. The goal is to support greater self-understanding, stronger connections, and a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.
I have completed specialized training through BRIA’s Menopause Mental Health Provider Certification Program, with a focus on the emotional, psychological, relational, and physical changes that can occur during perimenopause and menopause. This training deepened my understanding of the complex ways hormonal transitions can impact mood, identity, sleep, anxiety, relationships, sexuality, and overall well-being, allowing me to support clients with greater insight, validation, and care.
Adults navigating life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, or a desire for greater self- understanding are welcomed. Therapy can offer a reflective and supportive space to make sense of experiences, strengthen resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
